ABOUT
With over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry — including two formative years at Jean Paul Gaultier's studio — I’ve led creative teams and shaped brand identities from concept to execution.
Beyond fashion, I co-founded LO/A - Library of Arts in Paris (2013–2016), a hybrid space merging a thematic bookstore, gallery, and independent publishing house—dedicated to contemporary visual culture.
Since 2018, I’ve brought my strategic and artistic vision to Flirt Studio, a multidisciplinary creative studio, where I work across brand strategy, creative direction, photography, film, and graphic design.
I thrive at the intersection of concept and craft—helping brands tell meaningful, visually compelling stories across platforms.
I’m also freelance photographer and filmmaker.

MAXIM MONTI IS A FRENCH PHOTOGRAPHER, FILMMAKER AND ARTIST BASED IN PARIS. WORKING ACROSS PHOTOGRAPHY, FILM AND INSTALLATION, HIS PRACTICE EXPLORES THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN PEOPLE, THEIR BODIES AND THE ENVIRONMENTS THEY INHABIT.
INFORMED BY A BACKGROUND IN FASHION AND CREATIVE DIRECTION, HIS WORK QUESTIONS THE CODES OF REPRESENTATION AND THE WAYS IN WHICH IMAGES SHAPE OUR PERCEPTION OF BODIES AND IDENTITIES.
MOVING BETWEEN STAGING AND OBSERVATION, CONSTRUCTION AND SPONTANEITY, MAXIM PLACES GESTURE, PRESENCE AND HUMAN CONNECTION AT THE CENTRE OF HIS IMAGE-MAKING. HIS PERSONAL PROJECTS, EXHIBITIONS AND PERFORMANCES EXTEND THIS APPROACH BEYOND THE FRAME, CONSIDERING THE IMAGE AS A SPACE OF ENCOUNTER — A PLACE TO QUESTION HOW WE LOOK, HOW WE ARE SEEN, AND HOW WE CHOOSE TO MAKE OURSELVES VISIBLE.
